The Su-25UB is a two-seat combat-trainer provided with an active and passive electronic warfare equipment. It retains full military capabilities of its single-seat predecessor, carries all armament combinations. There were about 200 planes made within 1986 and 1992, some of them exported. Su-25s were engaged in many conflicts, e.g. in Afghanistan, Africa, Kavkaz, Middle East, in which they proved their reputation as one of the best fighters in the world.
